About UTI Children's Hybrid Fund

UTI Children's Hybrid Fund is a children's fund managed by UTI Mutual Fund. Solution-oriented funds for a child’s future needs, with a lock-in of 5 years or until the child turns 18, whichever is earlier.

The primary objective of the scheme is to invest predominantly in debt and money market instruments and part of the portfolio into equity & equity related securities with a view to generating income and aim for capital appreciation. However, there is no assurance or guarantee that the investment objective of the Scheme would be achieved.

The scheme's stated objective, as published by UTI Mutual Fund.

The NAV (net asset value) is the price of one unit of the fund. It is published by the fund house every business day and changes with the value of the fund's holdings. The Growth option reinvests all gains, so its NAV reflects the fund's total return.

Tax on your gains

How gains are taxed depends on what the scheme holds — equity, debt, gold or units of other funds each follow different rules. The scheme document states which applies.
