About Bandhan Long Term Fund

Bandhan Long Term Fund is a long duration fund managed by Bandhan Mutual Fund. Debt funds with a portfolio duration of more than 7 years. They gain most when interest rates fall and lose most when rates rise.

The scheme seeks to invest in a diversified set of debt and money market securities, such that the Macaulay duration of the Portfolio is greater than 7 years, with the aim of generating optimal returns over long term. However, there can be no assurance or guarantee that the investment objective of the Scheme will be achieved.

The scheme's stated objective, as published by Bandhan Mutual Fund.

The NAV (net asset value) is the price of one unit of the fund. It is published by the fund house every business day and changes with the value of the fund's holdings. The Growth option reinvests all gains, so its NAV reflects the fund's total return.

Tax on your gains

Gains on debt fund units bought on or after 1 April 2023 are added to your income and taxed at your slab rate, however long you hold them. Units bought before that date follow the older long-term rules.
