How LPG prices are set

LPG prices follow the international price of propane and butane (the Saudi contract price) and the rupee, plus freight to the bottling plant, the distributor's commission and GST: 5% on domestic cylinders and 18% on commercial ones. The oil companies reset them on the 1st of each month. Freight from the plant is why the price in North and Middle Andaman differs from other districts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
