About SBI Large Cap Fund

SBI Large Cap Fund is a large cap fund managed by SBI Mutual Fund. Invest at least 80% in the 100 largest listed companies by market value. Usually the least volatile equity category, suited to investors wanting steadier equity exposure.

To provide investors with opportunities for long-term growth in capital through an active management of investments in a diversified basket of large cap equity stocks (as specified by SEBI/AMFI from time to time).

The scheme's stated objective, as published by SBI Mutual Fund.

The NAV (net asset value) is the price of one unit of the fund. It is published by the fund house every business day and changes with the value of the fund's holdings. The Growth option reinvests all gains, so its NAV reflects the fund's total return.

Tax on your gains

Gains are taxed as equity: sell within 12 months and the gain is short-term, taxed at 20%. Hold longer and it is long-term, taxed at 12.5% on gains above ₹1.25 lakh in a financial year, across all your equity investments.
