About DSP Natural Resources And New Energy Fund

DSP Natural Resources And New Energy Fund is a sectoral / thematic fund managed by DSP Mutual Fund. Invest in one sector (such as banking, IT or pharma) or a theme (such as consumption or infrastructure). Concentrated and higher risk; suited to investors with a view on that sector.

The Scheme seeks to generate capital appreciation and provide long term growth opportunities by investing in equity and equity related securities of companies/entities domiciled in India whose predominant economic activity involves the discovery, development, production, or distribution of natural resources, including energy and mining, as well as alternative energy and energy technology sectors, with emphasis on renewable energy, automotive and on-site power generation, energy storage, and enabling energy technologies. The Scheme may also invest a portion of its corpus in equity and equity related securities of overseas companies/entities principally engaged in the discovery, development, production, or distribution of natural resources and alternative energy, and/or in units or shares of overseas mutual fund schemes such as BGF Sustainable Energy Fund, BGF World Energy Fund, and others.

The scheme's stated objective, as published by DSP Mutual Fund.

The NAV (net asset value) is the price of one unit of the fund. It is published by the fund house every business day and changes with the value of the fund's holdings. The Growth option reinvests all gains, so its NAV reflects the fund's total return.
